How to identify your Xbox360 drive.
Please use the image below determine you drive.


SAMSUNG DRIVES.

If you have Samsung drive you may use the standard flash service,

HITACHI DRIVES.

If you have a Hitachi drive, there are many different versions, but all now fall under the standard flash service.


BENQ DRIVES (ALSO LITE-ON DRIVES).

BenQ drives can be modified, the newer Lite-on drives cannot. If you have a BenQ drive then a further check is required, this is because the new Lite-on drive which has so far proved unmodifiable looks exactly the same as the  BenQ drive. You can check to see if it is in fact the Lite-on version by removing the front face plate from the console and where the drive is located looking through the small hole. If you can see two yellow wires then you have the Lite-on version which cannot be modified at the moment, however if you see two white or gray wires then you have a BenQ drive and this is subject to the standard flash service charges. Please use the image below as a guide to check.

We are currently in the process of offering a liteon replacement service, as it has now come to light that the key can be read from the drive, we should be able to swap the drive for another `moddable` one.  Stay tuned for more news soon!!
