Wii Information
There are many Nintendo Wii modchips on the market, all doing the same job with varying optional enhancements and benefits, however most people just want a chip that works and is stable. The chips we supply and fit, we find are the most stable and reliable. There are some things that you will need to know when deciding which one is best for you, the main point being which drive chip (chipset) your console has, as this can determine which chip must be used as opposed to which chip you want to have installed. You must open up the console and view the markings on the chip to know for sure exactly one you have, however you can get a fairly good idea by looking at the serial number of the console, this can be found on the bottom of the wii next to the barcode and will start with “LEH” followed by a series of numbers. We only need the first 3 digits to get a fair idea of the chipset.
Consoles beginning with LEH130 or below will either be DMS, D2A, D2B (All variants)
Consoles between LEH131 and LEH135 could be either DMS, D2A, D2B (All variants) or D2C
Consoles beginning with LEH135 or above will likely be D2C
Consoles beginning with LEH195 or above will be either D2C, D2C-2 or D2E
